Welcome to our New Players!

Everyone welcome Kohen Yates, aka “Haz,” our newest member of CSU’s Rocket League team! Kohen is coming from Spire Academy to play with CSU in the Fall of 2025! We’re thrilled you're joining us, Kohen!

Please welcome Scott Wade, aka “Dr.Kirb,” the newest addition to CSU’s Smash Ultimate team. You may recognize Scott, as he has placed in the top 8 in every Midguard Mayhem and has won 3! Additionally, Scott has also won regionals and state championships in the fall. We’re excited to see what you bring to the table, Scott!

Senior Spotlight

Jose Valdez Saldana, "Iruleu1," Overwatch Green

Meet Jose Valdez, aka “Iruleu1.” Jose is a senior accounting major from Painesville, Ohio. He is a support player on CSU’s Overwatch Green team, usually playing Lucio or Brigitte. Jose is the 2025 valedictorian of the Monte Ahuja College of Business and has also gotten the Rotary Award for Excellence in Accounting. After graduating this spring, Jose will be working at Avery Dennison as an accountant. In his free time, he enjoys running and weightlifting! Thank you, Jose, for being a loyal, talented player on our team. We appreciate you and everything you’ve brought to CSU! We’re all so proud of you, and we’ll miss you and your crazy Lucio skills big time, Jose! 💚🎮
