Cleveland State Coaches Host Esports Clinic for Holy Name and Shaker Heights High School Students
 | Cleveland State University recently held an inspiring esports clinic, welcoming students from Holy Name High School and Shaker Heights High School to an engaging day of skill development and strategic insights. This collaborative event was designed to help young esports enthusiasts hone their skills, learn essential teamwork strategies, and gain valuable insights from Cleveland State's talented coaches and players. |
The clinic offered students hands-on experience in a professional environment, playing alongside Cleveland State's dedicated coaching staff. This rare opportunity gave students a chance to not only elevate their technical abilities but also learn firsthand about the discipline and strategy that esports demands. |  |
Congratulations to all participants, and a special thanks to Jasmine Carleson, Julie Brannigan, and Keith Szalay for their dedication and support in making this event possible. Best of luck to both teams in Esports Ohio this spring—may the games be challenging and rewarding!
Baldwin Wallace Visits Cleveland State for GLEC Smash Ultimate Match
The Cleveland State University Esports facility recently hosted Baldwin Wallace University’s Smash Ultimate team for an exciting GLEC game. In a display of skill and coordination, Cleveland State’s team took a 2-0 victory, demonstrating their strength and preparation in this season’s competitive lineup. Congratulations to Cleveland State on their win, and kudos to both teams for a thrilling matchup!
Cleveland State went 24-2 combined in conference play which includes our Valorant, Smash Ultimate, and League of Legends teams
