CSU’s Valorant Teams Play for GA VAL: Act III at Game Arena

This past weekend, CSU’s Valorant teams got the opportunity to play at Game Arena against many other talented teams. CSU’s Valorant Green team took 2nd place, beating Ohio State and taking home a cash prize of $250! Great work teams!

CSU’s Esports team is back!

On Friday, we got to welcome back all of our awesome players with a welcome party! Hosted right at home in CSU’s esports lab, the players all had a great time playing games and eating pizza while catching up with each other after their winter breaks. The energy was high, and the players are excited for their upcoming season!

Conference Play Has Begun!

he GLEC League has started and the season has officially begun! Good luck to all of the teams and players this season!

On 1/17/25, CSU’s Overwatch Green won played against Albion University with a score of 3-0

On 1/18/25, CSU’s Rocket League team won against Manchester University with a score of 4-0

Be sure to tune in on 1/23/25 for CSU’s Smash Ultimate team’s first GLEC game of the season!

Giving Day - 24 Hour Stream

February 27th is Giving Day! Giving Day is CSU Esports biggest day of the year! On Friday, February 21st, at 8 pm, CSU’s esports team will be hosting a 24-hour stream with the team players and coaches. The stream will go until 8 pm on Saturday, February 22nd. During the stream, viewers will be able to watch the team play fun games and have the option to donate to help CSU build our Esports program while getting the chance to win some cool prizes! We hope for your support!

Phil Hock, "falconn.," Rocket League

Meet Phil Hock, aka "falconn." This talented player is making waves on CSU's Rocket League team. Phil is a freshman coming from Avon Lake, Ohio, and studies business. Outside of esports, Phil enjoys playing soccer, poker, and playing video games with his friends. His competitive spirit and strategic mindset make him a key player to watch as he kicks off his esports journey at CSU. We’re excited to see how Phil’s second season unfolds!
