NACE UN10N Conference

It’s no secret that CSU esports is absolutely stacked with talent. In fact, at our recent Union 10 conference, CSU was the only school to qualify and bring our teams for each game played at the competition! This includes Valorant, Overwatch 2, League of Legends, and Rocket League. We took 21 of our players on an 11-hour drive across the Midwest to compete at the University of Missouri for the conference’s first LAN event. Our teams faced some of the toughest programs in the nation, including Mizzou, Wichita State, Stony Brook, Western Kentucky and George Mason. 🎮

Our Varsity Overwatch team made conference history at Mizzou, becoming the first ever winners of the Union 10 Conference first-place trophy! The team absolutely dominated their match against Oakland University, winning the series 3-0, being the first team to defeat Oakland that day, and it was a total sweep! This tournament allowed the top three teams in the conference to earn a playoff bid to the NACE National Playoffs in Orlando, Florida, and our team made it known that they are playing to win it all! Also earning spots at the playoffs were our Varsity Valorant team, making third place, and our Rocket League team, also winning third place. Congratulations to all of our teams who qualified. We are excited to watch you all win big! 💚
